Corporate Accountant

Boca Raton, Florida

A luxury high-rise residential developer in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support corporate accounting and treasury functions across multiple development projects. The role oversees corporate banking, credit, and investment activities while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Real estate experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate cash management and liquidity activities
• Analyze loan agreements and monitor corporate debt, including interest calculations
• Coordinate with external banks and internal legal teams to establish new bank accounts
• Process wire transfers and internal fund movements
• Process and issue checks using the accounting system
• Monitor publicly traded investment portfolios and execute account transfers when required
• Manage foreign currency accounts and convert balances to USD for financial reporting
• Assist with quarterly close of corporate financial records
• Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly financial statements
• Perform Timberscan administration and system setup functions
• Complete HFM uploads and roll-forwards during quarterly consolidations
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Supervise the corporate accounts payable function
• Reconcile intercompany accounts
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and support to the Vice President of Corporate Accounting and CFO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 3 years of recent experience in a corporate accounting environment
• Knowledge of banking systems, including wire processing
• Experience with foreign transactions preferred
• Experience with accounting systems including Sage, Timberline, Timberscan, and HFM
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and reliable with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
