This notice explains what happens to information when you use this website. It is written to describe what the site actually does, and it is kept deliberately short because the site does very little.
The short version
We do not set cookies on this website. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels of any kind. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share information with anyone for marketing.
The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us — usually a CV or an enquiry by email, through the contact form, or a meeting you book with us.
Information you send us
Email. If you email us, or send a CV in response to a role, we receive whatever you put in that message and its attachments. We use it only to assess a possible fit for a search we are running and to reply to you.
The contact form. The form on our home page is delivered by Web3Forms, a separate company that passes your name, email, and message to us at info@bestheadhunters.com under its own privacy policy. We use what you send only to reply to your enquiry.
Booking a meeting. Job listing pages include a scheduling tool from Calendly. If you book a time, you give Calendly your name, email address and chosen slot, and it passes that to us. Calendly is a separate company and processes that booking under its own privacy policy.
Who we work for. We are a retained and contingency executive search firm. We are engaged and paid by employers, not by candidates. That means if you are a candidate, the details you send us may be shared with the employer whose role you are being considered for — that is the point of sending them — but only for that purpose.
Information collected automatically
By us: none. This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. You can confirm this in your browser's developer tools.
By our hosting. Like any web server, the server that delivers these pages records ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses. These are operational records used to keep the site running and secure.
Calendly. On job listing pages only, the embedded scheduling tool loads code from Calendly and its own suppliers, and those set their own third-party cookies in your browser before you interact with them. This happens as soon as such a page opens. If you would rather not load it, do not open a job listing page, or block third-party cookies in your browser; the rest of the site works without them.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep CVs and correspondence for as long as they are useful to a live or plausible future search, and delete them on request.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to those things; we will honour the request either way. Email info@bestheadhunters.com and we will respond.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
