Vice President of Investor Relations

A real estate investment, development, and debt fund firm headquartered in New York City is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations. The firm manages over 150 entities. This role is responsible for communicating the company’s strategy and financial performance to investors, responding to inquiries, analyzing investor sentiment, and advising senior leadership on market perception.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with financial performance and corporate objectives
• Prepare quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, call scripts, and related materials
• Manage relationships with institutional investors, shareholders, and buy-side and sell-side analysts
• Respond to investor inquiries and communicate feedback to senior leadership
• Monitor market trends, peer performance, and shareholder sentiment
• Organize investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and investor events
• Support outreach efforts to prospective investors and expand investor awareness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC regulations and Regulation Fair Disclosure (Reg FD)
• Maintain and utilize investment management and CRM systems

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, equity research, or investment banking
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CFA preferred
• Strong financial analysis and financial modeling capabilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing communications between principals and investors
• Understanding of residential real estate and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of investment management software and Microsoft Office Professional
• Ability to operate effectively in a high-responsibility environment
