VP, Investor Relations

Overview

Our client has an opening for a highly intelligent, motivated, and detail-oriented VP, Investor Relations, to join their team located in New York City.

Our client is a real estate investment, development, and debt fund company that manages over 150 entities. They are seeking a VP of Investor Relations who will be able to educate investors regarding the company's strategy and financial model and respond to investor inquiries, and who will analyze investor feedback, sentiment, and questions for the company's senior executives, Board of Directors, and Public Relations team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage US as well as global investors looking to invest in the company's U.S. real estate projects.
• Help lead the $700 MM targeted capital raise for Fund III.
• Create investor strategies, prepare earnings materials, manage analyst relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance to maintain investor confidence.
• Develop and execute an investor relations plan, including messaging around financial performance, corporate strategy, and value proposition.
• Lead the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, conference calls, scripts, and investor presentations.
• Maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, buy-side and sell-side analysts, and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, peer performance, and shareholder sentiment to advise executive leadership (CFO/CEO).
• Organize investor days, roadshows, and participation in industry conferences.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as SEC rules and Regulation Fair Disclosure (Reg FD).

Qualifications and Experience

• 7-10+ years' experience in investor relations, finance, equity research, or investment banking.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business; MBA or CFA is often preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, deep financial analysis skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and strong relationship management abilities.
