Prestigious Thriving Real Estate Developer in Miami Florida is searching for a Highly Intelligent and Motivated Planning & Design Manager for Luxury Residential High-Rise Condominiums & Rental Projects!

We are searching for an experienced, detail-oriented Planning and Design Manager to join our fast-paced Design and Construction Team located in Miami Florida. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience in the planning and design coordination of luxury residential high-rise condominiums and multi-family rental projects, working with creative visionaries in architecture and luxury real estate from early inception through construction completion.

The Qualifications of the Planning & Design Manager are as follows:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture and/or Design is required.
• 3-4 years of professional experience working at an architectural or high-end interior design firm.
• Proven track record working on multiple high-end residential or luxury hospitality projects (from schematic design through construction documentation).
• Deep understanding of all aspects of construction documents, layout coordination, and design production phases.
• Exceptional design talent with strong conceptualization skills, luxury brand exposure, and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to critically analyze and study architectural floor plans; urban planning skills are highly preferred.
• Proficient with design and business tools, including AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal, writing, and editorial skills alongside polished presentation talents.
• Highly resourceful problem solver, quick learner, and prioritization expert capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

The Responsibilities of the Planning & Design Manager are as follows:

1. Design Process & Aesthetic Direction
• Report jointly to the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Design and the Executive Vice President of Construction to assist in managing all design process lifecycles for multiple complex projects.
• Thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced development ecosystem while encouraging out-of-the-box thinking.
• Maintain an exceptional, on-brand aesthetic standard that is deeply appropriate to the targeted luxury market, neighborhood context, and programming intentions.

2. Construction Documentation & Design Integrity
• Review and assist with all construction and design documents from the inception of pre-development planning phases through project completion.
• Provide project-specific recommendations and spatial layout critiques regarding architectural programming and spatial layouts.
• Protect and preserve the design integrity of the product, including but not limited to materials, functional layouts, electrical, lighting, audio-visual systems, technology integration, art curation, and FF&E plans.

3. Budget, Buyouts & Value Engineering (VE)
• Understand and navigate the complexities of multi-million dollar high-rise project budgets.
• Assist the internal development team with buyout decisions and analytical reviews.
• Provide strategic input on Value Engineering (VE) choices to maintain the premium quality of the finished product while meeting fiscal goals.

4. Sourcing & Construction Coordination
• Assist in complex construction project coordination, proactive quality control efforts, project scheduling, and building material procurement.
• Manage FF&E sourcing and technical specifications, working closely with specialty consultants to specify products that align cleanly with budgeted limitations.
