Finance Manager – Real Estate Background

Immediate opening for an experienced Finance Manager with a real estate background in New York. Our client is the founder and owner of a luxury residential condominium and rental property development company seeking a finance manager for personal financial oversight. The role involves wealth preservation, investment oversight, financial reporting, and coordination with legal and tax advisors.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and cash flow management
• Oversee personal bank accounts and related financial activity
• Assist with investment strategy and monitor investment portfolios, including public equities and real estate investments
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements, trusts, and estate planning structures
• Communicate with family members, attorneys, accountants, and financial institutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Banking, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Direct real estate experience required
• Knowledge of organizational structures, defined benefit plans, real estate investments, personal banking, and complex financial structures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assume responsibilities quickly
