Assistant Project Manager – Luxury High-Rise ConstructionA ground-up property developer in Broward County, Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for luxury residential high-rise condominium projects. This role supports project execution across multiple phases of construction and requires experience in high-rise residential development.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day construction operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Support management of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Review and track contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
- Maintain organized project files and tracking logs
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and preparation of cost reports
- Review invoices and subcontractor pay applications
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and project status reports
- Communicate project updates with stakeholders, owners, and consultants
- Monitor construction schedules and coordinate with field teams to address delays
- Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and building codes
- Support safety requirements and quality control standards
- Assist with inspections and project close-out documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
- 2 to 4 years of project management experience in luxury residential high-rise construction
- Developer-side site experience required
- Experience with project coordination, construction documentation, and cost tracking
- Knowledge of construction methods and scheduling software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
