Asset Manager Analyst needed for Real Estate Management & Development Company in New York City

Our client, a New York real estate developer, owner and property manager is searching for an Asset Manager Analyst for their project management division. The Asset Manager Analyst will support the project management of a multi-asset development portfolio in various stages of preconstruction, construction, and lease-up. The Asset Manager Analyst is part of a cross-functional team that analyzes and evaluates assets, portfolios, transactions,  and organizations on behalf of its clients.  The ideal candidate for this role has a strong command of real estate fundamentals with exceptional financial modeling abilities.

 

The Asset Manager Analyst must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate.
  • 1-2 years of relevant real estate, finance, investment banking, or private equity experience with an owner/investor/operator (condominium development is preferred).
  • Outstanding quantitative and financial modeling skills in Excel.
  • Excellent time management, writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually or on a team.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple assignments and projects and efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and legal documents.

 

The Asset Manager Analyst will have the following roles and responsibilities to: 

  • Assist with asset management duties including Excel-based financial modeling, project
  • management and cash management.
  • Prepare investor, lender, and internal reports on an ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to assist with potential new equity and debt investments.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis in Excel to analyze development metrics.
  • Review loan documents for loan management and compliance purposes.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings related to ongoing construction progress and leasing/operational activity.
  • Coordinate efficient transfer of information between the accounting, construction, and sales teams.

 

The company offers an excellent salary and benefits package. Salary $80K-$120K annually, Full time permanent position
