Our Client, a Luxury Residential Condominium Development Company, has an immediate opening for a highly intelligent, motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Architectural Designer/Coordinator Manager to join their Design and Construction Team for their South Florida Office.

 

This is an opportunity for an individual to join a thriving, fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial development firm. The ideal candidate will have diverse experience in the planning and design coordination of luxury residential high-rise condominiums. The Planning and Design Coordinator will be involved in various planning and design decisions, on the pre-development of new luxury properties, from the inception of planning and design phases. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with creative visionaries in the field of design, architecture, and real estate.

The Residential Senior Architectural Designer/Coordinator Manager must have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in architecture and/or design
  • 3-4 years’ experience working at an architectural firm and or interior designer
  • Must have experience working on multiple high-end residential projects, or hospitality (from schematic design to construction documentation)
  • Experience in all aspects of the construction and design documents and processes
  • Excellent design talent: ability to conceptualize and meticulous attention to detail
  • Study and critique floor plans; urban planning skills preferred
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Excellent written and editorial skills; polished presentation and speaking skills
  • Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate and manage relationships
  • Highly resourceful problem solver and a quick learner
  • Experience with luxury brands
  • Skillful time management skills and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

 

The Residential Senior Architectural Designer/Coordinator Manager will have the following roles and responsibilities:

The Planning and Design Coordinator will report to the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Design and the Executive Vice President of Construction to assist in managing all aspects of the design process for multiple projects with varying scales

A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and encourage out-of-the-box thinking while ensuring our product does not diminish in quality. Assisting in maintaining an on-brand aesthetic appropriate to the market, neighborhood, and programming intentions is key

  • Review and assist with all construction and design documents and provide project-specific recommendations and input regarding architectural programming, planning and design throughout all phases of the pre-development through completion.
  • The goal is to maintain the design and integrity of the product.
  • Includes but is not limited to materials, layouts, electrical, lighting, audio-visual, technology plans, art, and FF&E.
  • Assist in complex construction project coordination, quality control efforts, project scheduling, and building material procurement
  • Understand the complexities of project budgets and be able to assist and review with the internal team buyout and VE decisions
  • Assist in FF&E sourcing and specifications and can work with consultants to specify and source products that meet the budget

 

The company offers an excellent salary and benefits package. Salary $120K-$150K annually, full time permanent position
