Director of National Account Sales – Fine Paper for FDA and Food Products Paper

Our client, a manufacturer of Specialty papers for the North American printing market,  is seeking s Director of National Account Sales with an emphasis on FDA and Food products paper.This position reports to the CEO of the company.

 

The Director of National Account Sales for Specialty paper products must have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years sales management experience in the specialty paper industry, with the emphasis on FDA and food product papers.
  • Strong communication skills open, honest verbal and written communications
  • Strategic thinking. Excellent organizational skills.
  •  Experience in managing budgets and expenses
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration is desired.

 

The Director of National Account Sales for Specialty paper products will have the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Knowledge of Touch Food paper, new grade of paper, technical FDA papers, to go baking, and bacon and donut grease resistant paper.
  • Develop new sales in FDA, Food papers, and printing and publishing
  • Development of new business pipeline
  • Have a book of business in Specialty and Food / FDA paper
  • Product development working with mills and product trials
  • Monitor regional sales performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness providing needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers, branch personnel and headquarters personnel.
  • Interfaces daily with corporate management and external customers.
  • Effective at discussing credit situations while maintaining the relationship with the customer.
  • Review and analyze sales personnel performance results and take corrective and/or training & development actions as needed.
  • Evaluate, develop, improve and implement procedures and practices.
  • Build a team environment to accomplish goals.
  •  Ensures regional sales operations comply with federal, state, local and company policies and HQ initiatives
